Get extra security for your Betinia account with 2FA.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) sends a code to the registered mobile phone number before you can log in to your account for the first time. Each time you log in after clearing your browser history, you will be sent a new code to enter along with your username and password.
2FA dramatically reduces security issues via hacking. It’s free and will only add a few seconds to the time it takes to log in.
Follow the instructions below:
- a) Download the Google Authenticator App from the Google Play Store or the Authy App from the App Store
- b) Opt in: Go to the Password section of your Betinia Profile and enable the 2FA option.
- c) Choose Setup Key or QR-Code: Select whether to send the one-time code to your email or as a text message to your phone.
- Confirmation: You will receive confirmation from Betinia that 2FA was successfully synchronized.
Setup Key: Enter the 6-digit code on your app.
QR-Code: Select Scan QR Code, and the app will prompt you to scan the code on your computer screen with your smart device’s front-facing camera. You may need to allow the authenticator to take pictures.
2FA should now be configured with your Betinia account. If the code has not been generated, select resend to get another code sent to you. A code can take a minute to get to your device.
